This is the Brabus 900 Rocket R, a Porsche 911 Turbo S on steroids with the full expertise of Brabus thrown at it! Limited to only 25 cars, I'm in Bottrop, Germany, to bring you along for a first drive and experience, including an open stretch of Autobahn. They have built an absolute monster!

Having recently visited the home of Brabus for a full tour around the entire facility, and an opportunity to take in the work that goes into making their Masterpiece projects; full interiors, exterior parts, and engine upgrades, it's now time to return for a run on the road. What better then to drive, than the newly introduced, incredibly rare, and immensely powerful, 900 Rocket R!

With a background of transforming the very best Mercedes and AMG models, Brabus in recent years have expanded their portfolio including other brands, and in this case taking the 992 generation Porsche 911 Turbo S. The base model is an already immensely capable machine with 650hp, but the Rocket R brings even more exclusivity and luxury to the platform with a bump to 900hp, a full Brabus Masterpiece interior, and a unique exterior body package for striking visual appearance.

We'll kick start our visit to Bottrop with a tour of the car in the workshop where they are assembled, before getting out onto the road for a run on the de-restricted Germany Autobahn and ultimately onto the country lanes. It makes an absolute walk of storming up to 300km/h (almost 200mph) with an effortless nature that only a 911 Turbo derivative can match, yet manages to suit daily driving duties with aplomb.
