The Where's Shmee Snow Tour in my AMG GT Black Series is officially underway! My first stop takes us back to the early years of AMG, and a first drive in the 300 SEL Rote Sau on the frozen lake at The ICE. Not only that, but the GT BS can come out to play too, let's go to Switzerland!

After a long slog from London to Stuttgart, we begin at Motorworld Boeblingen for the drive to Switzerland to join the Mercedes-Benz Classic team and a special line-up they have brought to The ICE. The car that grabs my attention; the iconic 300 SEL Rote Sau - the original of which really brought attention to AMG when they came 2nd at the Spa 24H in 1971.

However, a few years ago, Team Masters of Speed put together a limited run of AMG GT RS models wearing the same livery as the iconic 300 SEL. These are based on the AMG GT R, with a power boost to 850hp, rally lights, new badging, and the full livery to match the original Red Pig. Back in 2018, one of these took part in Gumball 3000: London to Tokyo, and that exact car even still wearing my Team Shmee150 sticker still present is sitting at the Motorworld.

After a successful journey through to the Swiss Alps, it's out onto the ice with Michael Abele from Mercedes-Benz Classic for an experience in the factory tribute car. Fast forward, and the Shmeemobile gets some laps to check it out too!
