It's hard to believe that I actually took delivery of the Ford GT back at the end of 2018, now over 5 years ago, and the unbelievable number of epic memories it has brought since. With a recap from working on the early spec through to today, it has easily cemented itself as my most prized possession and stand out Shmeemobile. However, driving it nearly 12,000 miles has of course come at a cost - both in terms of the annual servicing but also the consumables like pads and tyres. Then of course, there are other things on top of that which sure do add up.

Upon return from the Brussels Auto Show a few weeks ago, I took it straight to GT101 who recently serviced my Shelby GT500 and have now become an authorised Ford GT service centre, and no doubt the place it will be going from here on. Thankfully it has passed with flying colours on this one, including the required annual MOT, but there's still a lot to talk about that might take you by surprise.
