There's a car in my garage that we need to discuss, and whether its time has come... First up, the GT8 has some problems to resolve after the road trip to Scotland. Then let's grab the keys to one of my cars that has been parked for quite a while, and think about what the future looks like.

At this time of year, it's always a case of thinking about what the garage is going to look like in the months ahead; new arrivals on the way, and equally the potential departures ahead of us. While many of the Shmeemobiles are 'permanent', there are certainly some that over time will shuffle around and there's one in question that has not been out for 4 months now, and that begs the question what might be next for it.

However, first up, after the 1,100 mile road trip to Scotland and back with my Aston Martin Vantage GT8, it has thrown a series of errors in connection to emissions, plus there's a reset required for the TMPS. After a bit of fun in the tunnels towards the dealer, the GT8 is dropped off with collection later on, meanwhile with a run out in something else.

The car in question is my Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Due to the time of year, the car is in need of an MOT (the UK's annual roadworthiness check) so a perfect opportunity to head to Godleman's to get that carried out and ensure all is well. Not to mention an opportunity to stretch the legs and enjoy what was the OG US Shmeemobile - although 760hp with a Mustang in the wet is always a recipe for disaster!
