I'm in Italy to bring my Ferrari Purosangue to its birth place and visit the incredible Museo Ferrari Maranello! After we kick-off from the same spot I first drove a Purosangue, the mountain passes await before exploring some of the greatest Ferrari's ever made, including the new SP-8!

With the Shmeemobile layered in dirt and grime from the roads that brought us South from Munich, Germany to Pinzolo, Italy, we kick start the day's drive from the exact spot where I first experienced the Purosangue during the global media drive almost a year ago. For that drive I had joined my friend @seenthroughglass to get a first hand feel for the FUV, not expecting at the time I could be back so soon with my own.

After a drive to date including bits of misfortune, we're on the leg to Maranello, the birthplace of my car and the home of Ferrari. Along the way we take in parts of the Trento Bondone mountain roads and then on the Autostrade onwards towards Motor Valley and the Modena region. There's a purpose for the visit to Maranello that will bring some big news, very soon!

Our first stop is to the Museo Ferrari Maranello, featuring much of the story of the Scuderia Ferrari team, and the iconic Ferrari supercars with the likes of the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari and FXX K Evo currently on display. My attention is also grabbed by the latest Special Projects; the SP-8, based on the F8 platform.
