Having bought my first G63 back in summer 2019, it's crazy to think that I had it for almost 3 years and we're nearly 2 years on from when I let it go. I've made no secret since, that one day a new G will return to the collection and it's been a while since I last drove one, so heading out to Luxury Cars Hamburg to be one of the first to get behind the wheel of the brand new German Classic Design 920hp widebody G Class is the perfect opportunity.

The new GCD 920 as the name suggests is designed in Germany and boasts 920hp from the 4.0l twin turbo V8 thanks to new turbos, software, exhaust and plenty more parts to raise it from the stock 585hp. However, this is just the start because the details found around both the exterior and interior are really the ultimate in making it one of the most exclusive G Wagon packages available.

After a walk around the showroom featuring cars like the super-limited BMW 3.0 CSL, Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, and Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Break, we'll take a full look around the two GCD G63s before it's time to hear the thunderous exhaust and head out for a drive.
