This is the brand new exhaust for my Ford GT! The QuickSilver Special Projects system that has been developed for the new GT is made from Inconel and weighs only 5.4kg. First up, let's see what goes into testing a bespoke exhaust and what makes it so special!

Over the 4.5 years of my Ford GT ownership, I've had a few exhaust struggles with various failures and as such my car is currently running on a standard Euro spec system, which it has to be said is pretty quiet for the type of car it is; and we need to fix this! Having recently fitted a QuickSilver exhaust to my Renault Clio V6, and winding back over 10 years, I also had one on my Audi R8 V10 Spyder; it's time to do something new.

Working from the original system, the QuickSilver team have created a QSP exhaust made from Inconel - which is both lightweight and exceptionally effective with high temps - that both looks the part, and is no doubt going to bring a fantastic sound. Before it will be installed in the car however, it's important to head out for a drive to record stock temperatures and some sound clips while we're at it!
