I think the ultimate petrolhead's dream car has arrived! Let's take a first look at the brand new GMA T.33 Spider; combining an NA V12, manual gearbox, light weight, and now with removable targa roof panels. Gordon Murray has launched another stunning addition to the portfolio!

The T.33 in both Coupe and Spider form is powered by the Cosworth GMA.2, a 4.0l naturally aspirated V12 that produces 617hp and 451Nm with 90% torque from 4,500 to 10,500 rpm, on the way to the redline at 11,100. However, now with the removable roof panels that stow away in the front, and a rear window that can be lowered down, all of the sound and intoxicating emotion can be had with an open air experience.

To take a full look in detail, I'm visiting Gordon Murray Automotive at Dunsfold Park in England, where we can also feast our eyes over the complete line-up with the original T.50, the T.50s Niki Lauda race version, and the T.33 itself that I first checked out last year when it was introduced.

The new T.33 Spider, will match the Coupe with a run of 100 units and continues the introduction of a new model each year from GMA, with a 3rd derivative to follow. This particular car whets my appetite in the most spectacular way, being presented in a gorgeous metallic blue over silver wheels with a new design. Having been planned from the outset, the Spider only adds 18kg to the weight of the Coupe, coming in at a mere 1,108kg despite housing a V12 mid-engine.

Make absolutely no doubt about it, if I was in a position to place an order for this car, I absolutely would, and that's before even driving it to fully understand what the experience is going to be like! For automotive enthusiasts, this is almost certainly going to be absolute perfection.
