The new Morgan Super 3 is here at @The Shmuseum, and now I can show you exactly why I've bought one! It's the successor to my former 3 Wheeler, with an excitement and enjoyment unrivalled by anything else. Let's go for a first drive and a sense of the experience.

Morgan first made 3 wheeled vehicles back at the start of their history in 1910; over a century ago. I had the previous model; the 3 Wheeler, in the Shmeemobiles back in 2014 for a short period and what a fantastic amount of fun it was. However, with the launch of the new Super 3, it's time to do this again because it was always one of the most fun experiences I ever enjoyed in a car.

The Super 3 features huge numbers of upgrades from before; new superformed bodywork, a Ford sourced 1.5l 3-cyl engine in board making 118bhp, and plenty of bespoke customisation when you run wild with the configurator. There's no roof to this, and with 40 degree Celsius temperatures on a record day in the UK, it's quite the hot experience!

It's hard to describe what it's like to drive the Morgan Super 3, it's unlike anything else, taking you back in time and making it all about the smiles per mile and huge enjoyment that it brings. The Super 3 is a modern take, bringing digital displays and some tech into an otherwise very analogue experience.

I've got an order down and expect the car to arrive probably in early 2023, but before that we need to spend a lot of time working on a unique spec and making it a true Shmeemobile! I wonder if mine will ever do a lap of the Nurburgring...
