From my 'first car', a Renault Clio, via the first Shmeemobile, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, to the ultimate car in my garage, the McLaren Senna... this is not your normal group test!

The latest arrival to my collection has taken things full circle back to where they began, with a 2005 Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique that's identical in every way to the original I owned at the time and drove 35,000 miles. As any car addict, it was the start of the freedom to travel for me and brought many great experiences and memories with it, hence the decision to add a tribute to the collection to now go on and build into a sleeper track tool.

A few cars further into my ownership history came the first to ever be known on the channel as the Shmeemobile, my 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster. A couple of months ago I managed to find the very car I had sold 9 years previously and thanks to the owner at the time, I bought it back and reintroduced it to my collection.

Lastly we have the ultimate car I've owned in terms of performance, price tag and sheer wow factor, the McLaren Senna. Three cars from three very different eras of my car ownership history it's clear to see.

Upon purchasing the Vantage and Clio, one thing on my wish list was to drive them back to back with the Senna and just enjoy the moment, reflect on my own progress and walk down memory lane. Join me then for exactly that!
