Here's Why I'm Buying the New 2021 BMW M3 Competition! > Shmee150

My own new 2021 BMW M3 Competition is not far away, and in the meantime I'm getting behind the wheel for a first drive to see what it's all about! The new Shmeemobile is due for delivery imminently, so it's time to get a feel for what it'll be like to use and daily drive.

The new BMW M3 Competition strikes discussion immediately with the new look kidney grilles, however behind those sits a 3 litre flat 6 making 510hp and 550Nm (not 650Nm as said in the video) in the M3 Competition and M4 Competition, and 480hp and 450Nm in the regular M3 and M4. At the moment it's rear wheel drive only, with an 8 speed Auto for the Competition and a manual for the regular car, although an M xDrive AWD Competition Auto model is to arrive in the future as well.

However, this is currently one of the most discussed new models out there, and I've been intrigued to get behind the wheel on the road having driven a prototype out of track a year ago. This particular car is in Tanzanite Blue metallic but features the same Silverstone and Black dual tone leather interior that will be on my Isle of Man Green example. Mine is due to go into build imminently and it won't be long until it arrives for delivery back home.
