TRANSFORMING My Red Focus RS with New Carbon Parts! | PROJECT PART 12 > Shmee150

My Ford Focus RS Red Edition is getting brand new carbon fibre flared fenders and also FINALLY having the bonnet painted! The new parts from Custom Carbon are being finished in a unique design with Topaz Skin to complete the look of the project car.

On the exterior of the Race Red 1-of-300 Red Edition mk3 RS it wears the complete Ventus Veloce aero package consisting of many components however since it was first installed the bonnet has always been quite a large area of exposed carbon and the plan has been to paint it to a design. In steps Topaz Skin; a peelable protective paint layer that can just be pulled off if required leaving the perfect original piece in full carbon should that ever be required.

Alongside that we have a part I've also been looking forward to adding; the new Anderson Composites carbon fibre side fenders courtesy of Custom Carbon NL. These parts are significantly lighter than stock, add increased width and presence, as well as sporty louvres behind the front wheels. With the design we've come up with a plan as to the final look and this is also being completed with Topaz Skin to top it off.

Let's get the wheels in motion, bringing the car in through the wash bay to tidy it up and be prepared for the work to be completed by the guys. There's also the bonus of carbon fibre mirror caps to be installed, all coming in due course!
