When the Ford GT's tires are coming to the end of the life, what do you do? Call in Daily Driven Exotics and head to the Hoonigan Burnyard! There's only one way to finish them off so doing it in style was the way to go, however things almost got a little hairy...

After many outings and adventures including laps of the Nordschleife, Silverstone and Road Atlanta, the original set of Sport Cup 2 tyres had just about reached the end of their usable life at the front, and were getting pretty low at the rear. With the journey continuing across the USA and onwards back over in Europe, it made sense to get new ones fitted and as such destroying the old ones to make way.

For the task I decided to call in somebody who is significantly better at this than myself, cue Damon from Daily Driven Exotics. Both Damon and Dave came to join in the fun, including some antics with the Lamborghini Squadra Corse and also @cyber.garage's Viper ACR too. Quickly showing it's happy to slide around, the tires on the GT stand no chance with a few solid donuts. At one point there's a chance of disaster but all is well and back onwards we go with trouble averted. However, at the end, with tires completely and utterly ruined it's a bit of a process to get them all safely over to the shop to be changed and ready for the next adventures.

Of course a critical component in the fun is a suitable and legal location to do so, and in stepped the team at Hoonigan to make this possible! With their famous Burnyard the destination of choice, a facility that has claimed the lives of many tyres and also various bits of cars, we can have some fun to really finish them off.
