Learn in this video how to operate the electric glass roof in your BMW. When sitting in the vehicle, you can operate the glass roof and the sun guard via the same switch in the headliner. By pressing the switch up, the closed glass roof is raised and the sun guard opens slightly. Pressing the same switch up when the glass roof is opened, closes it to the raised position, without movement of the sun guard. By double-pressing the switch, the sun guard moves with it.
For some models, the glass roof is automatically opened to a specified comfort position, in which the wind noises in the interior are the lowest. If your BMW has been parked with the glass roof open for a longer period or it starts to rain, the glass roof automatically moves to the raised position.
