소방관들이 두려움 속에서도
800도가 넘는 불길에 뛰어들 수 있는 이유는
그들의 용기, 사명감과 함께
그들을 지켜주는 방화복이 있기 때문입니다.
 
소방관들의 수호신, 갑옷, 생명이라고 불리는 방화복.
하지만 전국에 방화복 전용 세탁기가 설치된 소방서는 단 5%.
손빨래를 하거나 기능 손상을 감수하며
일반 세탁기를 써야 하는 안타까운 현실입니다.
 
LG는 소방관들을 걱정하고 응원하는
가족의 마음으로 방화복 전용 세탁기를 만들었습니다.

만난 소방관 300명
시험세탁 1,200여회라는
많은 노력 끝에 나온 LG 방화복 세탁기.

What does a fire suit mean to a firefighter?
Only 5% of fire stations are equipped with fire suit-dedicated washing machines.
Most of the firefighters need to clean their suits by hand or use regular washing machine knowing that the machine damages the suits.
 
In this very moment to save lives,
firefighters are throwing themselves into the fire.
Knowing the hearts of firefighters’ families,
LG developed an exclusive washing machine designed for cleaning fire suits.

By designing an optimal algorithm,
the washing machine cleans with minimal damage to the fire suit.
