현재 육군은 천무 다연장 로켓을 실전 배치하여 구룡을 전량 대체할 예정입니다.

구룡은 길이 3.4m짜리 발사관 36개를 가로 9행, 세로 4열을 배치·제작한 발사대를 K714 5톤 카고트럭에 탑재·운용하고 있습니다.

또한 발사통제기를 이용해 단발, 부분 일제사, 또는 완전 일제사로 운용할 수 있습니다.
