Welcome to @ECDAutoDesign in Florida, home of the ultimate Land Rover Defenders! We're going to fully explore the facility from the customer experience, to assembly line, and onwards to a test drive in Project Limitless, joined by the founders. There's nothing else quite like it!

ECD Auto Design started a decade ago, bringing old Land Rover Defenders from the UK over to the US, but transforming them into something spectacular along the way. The idea is that no two cars are the same, with endless options, bodystyles, bespoke configuration, and unique touches available to each and every customer. We're going to see as much of this process as we can today, joined by two of the founders, Scott and Elliott.

We kick off in the showroom to see some of the Defenders, plus the E-Types that recently became one of the ECD offerings. Next up it's a tour through the 20 stages of the assembly process from the original cars arriving, until the reach QC and final checks. Then it's out onto the road for my own first experience at the wheel to see what it's all about!

A special thanks to ECD for hosting my visit and the opportunity to access all areas in their workshop. The way these cars are put together is second to none, an ECD Defender is quite literally the Singer of the Land Rover world; nothing but the best!
