My friend @EddieX has bought this stunning, brand new Corvette Z06 with Z07 Package! We're in Arizona to check it out, take in all the details, and go for a first drive to see what it's all about and whether it matches up to the hype. I've been looking forward to driving a Z06, let's go!

The new 8th generation Corvette has spawned its first track derivative which happens to house a 5.5l NA V8; which is also the world's most powerful naturally aspirated V8 with 670 horsepower. Stripping back some weight, dialling up the aero with new aggressive bodywork, and a host of new features, there's a lot for us to take in and showcase about Eddie's new addition.

As a fan of high-revving NA cars; his garage also includes the R8 V10 RWS and a Shelby GT350R, so the Z06 fits right at home, and being chassis 38 was also a super early delivery which includes the very rare Z07 Package with extra aero finished in carbon fibre. The car also features Vossen S21 wheels in OEM fitment which are wearing more suitable PS4S tires considering the weather; as opposed to the Cup 2 R that comes as standard.

Outside of Phoenix AZ we're taking a look around the car, and crucially a listen to the sound of this new flat-plane crank V8, before we're up in the hills with Eddie and them myself at the wheel to see what this is all about.
