James @TheStradman bought a new 2023 GMC Hummer EV, and today we're going to find out why! On paper, it's a truck that makes no sense at over 9,000lbs and boasting 1,000hp, but with bizarre features like crab walk and removable roof panels, there's a lot to explore!

For my final update from part one of the GT Black Series tour in the USA, we're with James before he'll be keeping a safe hold of the AMG in my absence. However, I'm intrigued to find out more about this ridiculous monster that is the new generation Hummer, having seen it only briefly before at SEMA last year.

The Hummer EV weighs in at 9,063lbs / 4,110kg, thanks to the enormous size and huge 212kWh battery pack that's good for 330 miles or so. Since buying the First Edition Hummer EV, James has done approximately 800 miles in the truck so still learning the ropes, but it gives us a good opportunity to run through the functionality and exactly what it can do.

It has been the most epic week with James in Utah and Las Vegas, seeing the Dream House and the drives to and from SEMA. Make sure to stay tuned to what he gets up to with my car while we're gone...
