Hypercar drag races before a convoy onboard an absurd Aventador SVJ?! Don't mind if I do! Welcome to Hypercar Invitational in California, with supercars on the runway, and a convoy drive in this absurd Lamborghini from @grassgasass where I'm feeling like DDE for the day...

I've flown over to take part in the event, that brings together some extraordinary cars, for drives on the road, runway and racetrack, kicking off with a gathering at Salinas Airport for some 1/2 mile fun. With cars from the Koenigsegg Agera RS and Bugatti Chiron, through to a 1,200hp Calvo Viper and more, speeds of 180mph+ start to get reached during the day. However, next up we have a convoy drive where I join with @grassgasass in one fairly bonkers Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

Featuring a Ryft exhaust amongst other modifications, this is one wild machine. Having just spent thousands of miles driving with @DailyDrivenExotics in their Aventador SVJ, I honestly don't know how they managed it given the car doesn't know how not to be driven fast and loud - I guess that's why they won exactly that award on Gumball 3000! It's just insane, a crazy thing, and when driving with the McLaren Senna, Ferrari 488 Pista and Porsche GT2 RS, it gets even more ridiculous.
