It does NOT get better than this! Join me for my first drive in a McLaren Senna GTR, made road legal by Lanzante, in an epic hypercar convoy with a Ferrari F50 and Gemballa Mirage GT, thanks to the legendary owner @r.m._.collection - I can't believe this actually happened!

The McLaren Senna GTR was introduced as a limited edition ultimate track toy, with only 75 units to be produced and in theory not legal to be driven on the road. However, that didn't stop Lanzante in the UK from offering a conversion package to make it possible to drive a Senna GTR on the road, and that's exactly the case for the GTR in the RM Collection. The process involved a change to the steering rack, the suspension, tyres, control systems and more, but ultimately means it's a ridiculous track machine that wears a license plate on the back!

However, that's not all for today's fun, as we're also taking out two other cars from the collection. Firstly, the Ferrari F50 which is my all time favourite car in the world; for all of the V12 engine from F1, the open driving experience, and the gated manual gearbox, plus being my first ever poster car. Secondly though, the Gemballa Mirage GT which just so happens to be the very same example of the heavily modified Porsche Carrera GT that I drove a year prior in Dubai!

After we've explored the garage and the other cars present, it's time to bring all 3 out for a convoy drive from out of this world. Naturally, as the only one I haven't previously driven, the Senna GTR takes the intrigue from me to see how much it differs from my road spec Senna, and generally to get a sense of occasion and what it's all about. However, it would be rude not to swap around the keys and experience the other two as we go...
