We made it! It wasn't easy, but we're in Toronto with my Shelby GT500 for the start of Gumball 3000 2022. A couple of days ago, this was going to be mission impossible, but we're here and getting the full livery for the rally! There's a lot to update; from originally planning to bring my AMG GT Black Series but the boat got held up, to seeing if we could try a factory Zenvo (mine is 1-2 months away), only for customs issues to make it impossible. However, given I own a ridiculously awesome American muscle car, it's a no brainer to drive it on this year's Gumball 3000, and hence drove up from New York City towards Toronto... until things went wrong.

Unfortunately, a mammoth pot hole caused some damage to at least one of the carbon fibre wheels equipped to my GT500 and rendered it unusable. Sourcing replacements has been no easy task and without the car community pulling together would have been impossible. However, Yonge Steeles Ford Lincoln Toronto made it possible to 'borrow' some wheels; @DrivewithRoy kindly drove a wheel all the way to New York State to the car, @Speedracer38 brought the tires and drove the car back to Toronto, my friend Jay picked us up to go to Montreal, @SaturnDrives helped with all the logistics in Canada, and Carbon Revolution have managed to source replacement wheels despite the stock issues in North America.

With the surreal situation of the car finally being ready to go, with no backup plan in place if it couldn't, we're straight over to the Gumball 3000 garage to see some of the other cars including an Aston Martin One-77 and McLaren P1, but also to install the full rally livery to my car, naturally, as team 150.
