Where did my Ford GT go for the last month?! Straight from my tour around Europe it's been getting ready for HUGE things ahead - I'm flying it to the USA! Not only that, but join me at ADP Special Products to finish off the interior with one more very significant touch...

You heard me correctly, I'm going to be taking the car for two months around the USA. Firstly flying it over to New York to get this trip that will take me also down to Miami and across to Los Angeles. Before it sets off that meant taking it to Multimatic to a service, check-over and generally making sure everything is well with it for the adventure ahead.

In the mean time, it has also received a very special extra touch to complete the Alan Mann Racing tribute in the form of the steering wheel and shift paddles. The Alcantara of the wheel is now stitched in the cross pattern using the exact same threads as the seats themselves and the extra detail of having the shift paddles to match the Mann Gold just completes the look.

These might seem small details but to me they make the car a true keeper and even more special for me personally through the story and what they represent. The opportunity to be able to work with ADP Special Products, the OEM supplier of the Ford GT's interior, is the icing on the cake and now with the adventure ahead the memories are going to be unforgettable.

The initial plan is to touch down at JFK and drive the car straight into Manhattan. From New York I'll be heading down the East Coast via Philadelphia and Atlanta towards Miami. After some time in Florida it's going to hop across to the West Coast for Monterey Car Week and Pebble Beach. There will be further stops to come, perhaps in Las Vegas, Austin/Houston, Chicago and possible Detroit but plans are still being made and more details will follow in due course.

This is something I've been dreaming of doing for a very long time and it feels completely surreal that the opportunity is now here, so I'd like to say a huge thanks for supporting this adventure and I hope you're going to enjoy all the videos that are to come.
