현대차그룹, ‘2014 R&D 아이디어 페스티벌’ 개최

현대자동차그룹은 10월 7일(화) 현대차그룹 기술연구소에서 ‘2014 R&D 아이디어페스티벌(R&D IDEA Festival)’을 개최하고, 연구원들의 창의적인 아이디어로 탄생한 신개념 이동수단들을 선보였습니다.
이 날 본선 대회에서는 10개 팀이 작품들을 실제로 시연하는 시간을 가졌으며, 현대자동차그룹 연구개발본부내 전문 심사위원과 대학교수뿐 아니라 200여명의 연구원이 심사에 참여해 상품성과 기술력을 평가, 대상 1팀, 최우수상 2팀, 우수상 3팀, 장려상 4팀을 선발했는데요.
현대차그룹 연구원들은 ▲고객의 취향에 따라 도어 및 시트 배치를 자율화함으로써 공간의 편의성을 높인 ‘스페이스 포머’ ▲가변형 바퀴를 통해 폭우, 폭설 등 열악한 환경조건에서도 사람을 구조할 수 있는 이동 수단인 ‘골든타임 레스큐’ ▲도로 사정에 맞게 차량의 폭을 변화시켜 주행 및 주차를 용이하게 하는 ‘가로세로’ ▲필요에 따라 차량간 연결과 분리가 가능한 미래형 자동차 ‘완두콩카’ ▲원하는 목적에 따라 세단, SUV, 트럭 등으로 변신이 가능한 ‘현대Car멜레온’ 등을 제안해 호평을 받았습니다.

Hyundai Motor Group held ‘2014 R&D IDEA Festival’ at Hyundai Motor Group R&D Center on October 7th(Tue) and showed new concept of means of transportation that researchers developed with their creative ideas.
On this day of finals, 10 teams put their works in motion, and the first prize for 1 team, the second prize for 2 teams, the third prize for 3 teams and participation prize for 4 teams were selected by expert panel of Hyundai Motor Group R&D Center, university professors, and 200 researchers based on marketability and technical skills.
Hyundai Motor Group researchers received a favorable review by suggesting ▲ ‘Space Former’ with better use of space by making it easy to move door and seats as customers want ▲ ‘Golden Time Rescue’ that can rescue people in poor weather like heavy rain or heavy snow with variable wheels ▲ ‘Horizontal and Vertical’ that can be easily driven or parked by changing its width depending on the road circumstances ▲ A future car ‘Pea Car’ that inter-vehicular connection or separation is possible if needed and ▲ ‘Hyundai Carmeleon’ that can turn into Sedan, SUV, or truck depending on the purpose of vehicle.
