The new upgrade provides a variety of new features and system improvements including:
- New skills for BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant for all vehicles with Operating System 8
- Extensive improvements to “charging route” function for the BMW iX and i4
- Availability of Amazon Alexa for all vehicles with Operating System 8
- New My Modes for the BMW iX and 2 Series Active Tourer
- In-car integration of the ConnectedDrive Store for adding functions at a later date for BMW iX and 2 Series Active Tourer
- Exit warning function for BMW iX and 2 Series Active Tourer
- Front Collision Warning with braking intervention for BMW iX and 2 Series Active Tourer
- QLOCKTWO time display for all vehicles with Operating System 8
- Further improvements for vehicles with Operating System 7
 
When the upgrade is available, you can easily download it via the My BMW App or directly with your BMW and install it right away.

Official data on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions power consumption and electric range were determined inaccordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the NEDC take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size; figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment.
 
WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies, if applicable. Where applicable, the NEDC values listed were calculated based on the new WLTP measurement procedure and then converted back to the NEDC measurement procedure for comparability reasons.
