In a Milan hotel lobby after Monza Saturday, Peter Windsor looks back at a frenetic day of racing and F1 qualifying. In this, the first of three videos from Saturday, Peter looks at the horrific accident involving Alex Peroni in the F3 race. While lying an excellent sixth (having started 13th), Peroni's Campos Dallara was launched skywards by a sausage kerb on the out side of the Parabolica corner. Peroni, now in a Milan hospital, was lucky to escape with only a broken vertebrae and concussion. Full credit should go to the effectiveness of the halo and the chassis crash systems - but the big question is why a kerb like this could launch a car the way it did.
