My SLS AMG Black Series is quickly on track to become one of the highest mileage examples in the world! With an ownership update as it heads towards 12,000km in just 4 months, I'm also delighted to show you the brand new Senturion Watch that is the actual key for my car!

Having previously shown you the Senturion Key I have for my McLaren 675LT Spider, now the newest addition is the brand new Senturion Watch that wears a matching specification to my SLS AMG Black Series and is fully functional as the key! The model is the SW-C1 with bespoke blue strap, finished with carbon casing, red button and rose gold dials to line up with the car's specification. The signature Senturion Red Button operates with a single press to unlock, a double press to lock, and pressing and holding to pop open the boot, the same functionality you have from the traditional key fob and of course it can be synchronised to cars from brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Porsche and AMG amongst others. Interestingly, the journey for me with the SLS Black Series actually started 6 years ago on this very spot, when I was visiting the Motorworld with my McLaren 12C and went over to VOS Cars where the very car I've now bought was sitting in the showroom. For collection day earlier this year, I also stayed back at the V8 Hotel, and started again with the G63 and trailer (joined by Tony from Turbo Transport) at Motorworld before heading to Schaltkulisse to pick up the car that was a very different spec then to how it looks now.

Unfortunately there are two niggles that the car has picked up, the first is that at some point I have scraped the lower front-splitter plastic, a very easy and cheap part to replace, but one I'd only replaced a month ago already. The other is that the reversing camera has failed, which is far from ideal on a car that has no parking sensors to begin with and is very large and awkward to maneouver.
