Back on the roads in my Ford GT! My last real outing in the car was actually half a year ago out in Chicago, USA before it flew back home following my amazing tour. Since then we've had poor weather, and all the plans for the last few months being cancelled, so it starts to feel like driving a new car all over again, and what a car it is!

Last year I piled the miles on the Ford GT with my full tour around the USA, so over winter during the period of poor weather I decided to leave it mostly in storage ahead of some big plans for April and May... Of course for obvious reasons those have all been shelved which means it's now got to 6 months without being driven anywhere more than 5 miles away from the storage, and not even over 40mph. With a drive out to the countryside needed for some important work, that makes it the perfect opportunity to get back behind the wheel and remember what it's all about.

After such a long period away, it's genuinely like driving a new car again and fully appreciating what it's all about. The Ford GT is a really special machine, and I feel very lucky to own it, from the stunning and dramatic looks to the unique experience behind the wheel. I've not spent much time driving it on lovely roads like this, and it's an absolute delight to enjoy again, even more so after not drivinag it for such a long time.

Upon return to the garage, I'll run over some of the plans that might be in store in the future as and when we start to get a better feel for what's next.
