Hennessey have taken the Jeep Gladiator and turned it into a monstrous beast! With an engine swap to the 6.2l supercharged V8 from the Hellcat that makes 1,000hp along with a major suspension lift and a retrimmed interior, let's check it out on their private track in Texas.

Starting as a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, this is the very first Hennessey Maximus and will be the SEMA showcar too. It's one of the 24 exclusive versions to be made that take the top spec Gladiators and dial them up a few notches. There's also new bodywork, wheels, tires and of course the King Off-Road Racing shocks to give it an extra 8" of lift. Also to come are new axles and side steps to complete the Maximus package.

Let's check out the car and look at the modifications before jumping on board to drive it and find out what it's like; with plenty of supercharger whine to enjoy listening to!
