Supercar ownership comes with many costs, some of which only get higher as the car gets older. Join me for a Fuel For Thought to discuss the costs of keeping my Aston Martin GT8, McLaren 675LT and Ferrari GTC4Lusso in the garage and the differences between them on topics like warranty, servicing, insurance and tax.

Back in the UK from months of travelling, it's the perfect opportunity to take the Vantage GT8 for a good run out to stretch the legs and let the V8 roar. As the car is quickly approaching becoming 3 years old, let's have a think about some of the costs that involves as the warranty expires and it has to head for the MOT check. The topic is inspired in part as my McLaren 675LT Spider has just passed 3 years of age and that included the warranty extension at a small fortune of £7,800 for 2 more years.

On the other hand, a car like the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is comparatively very 'cheap' to maintain due to the 7 year servicing pack included as standard with all new Ferraris. With no plans to sell any of the cars at any point soon, let me openly run through some of the costs involved and what's involved in such cars as part of growing a car collection.
