It's time to see what my new car will be like! After ordering the Toyota GR Supra I've been looking forward to getting a first drive to experience it and that chance has now come. Join me in Spain to get behind the wheel of the A90 Edition and discover all about it.

Having been straight on the button to order the GR Supra as soon as it went on sale, I'm lucky enough to be taking delivery of a special A90 Edition version later this year. Built in partnership with BMW and the Z4, the new Supra polarises opinion in many ways; whether that partnership is a positive, how about that it doesn't come with a manual gearbox, and then it's a Japanese sportscar that's actually built in Austria.

I was invited to Jarama last year to experience the prototype car on track, but driving it out on the roads is where you get a real sense for what a car is like in normal usage. And that is really where it comes to life; a car that's very well balanced and matched up in terms of the power, engine, chassis, suspension, steering etc.

But as somebody who has ordered a GR Supra, let me take you along for the drive and give some further thoughts from a buyer's perspective. I hope you like it as much as I do!
