What a dream! Taking my McLaren Senna for a lap at the famous Nurburgring and in doing so being the first ever Senna to lap the Green Hell! Kicking off from Esser with a supercar convoy we drive some amazing roads through the Eiffel Mountains to get to Nurburg before the real fun commences...

Esser, the Koenigsegg and Rimac dealer in Germany hosted a gathering in the morning that was joined by a Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren Mercedes SLR, Lamborghini Aventador SV, and many more Porsche GT3 RS, AMG GT Rs, BMW M cars and so much more. We get started bright and early with the Senna departing for a road route drive towards the famous race circuit.

With the Easter Weekend being a particularly busy time at the Ring, it's not unusual to find some big traffic jams and as such a bit of time to get around meaning by the time we can reach the circuit it's just at the very end of the day. Taking the car around makes it quite literally the first ever final production spec or customer McLaren Senna that has ever even gone around the circuit, although taking place during Touristenfahrten one must remember the road is busy and full road rules apply.

There is no question this car is beyond words, the performance is unbelievably and to be able to drive it on such tarmac, despite not being a track day or under full speed conditions, made for something really truly special.
