In this video, BMW How-To will show you how to select your preferred BMW Service Partner in your BMW, online or using the My BMW App. In the case of a vehicle maintenance requirement, your selected BMW Service Partner is informed by the automatic BMW Teleservice Call. Online, sign in to the BMW ConnectedDrive customer portal with your BMW ID. Open “Manage Vehicles”, select “Service Partner” and click on “Change BMW Service Partner”.
You can search for a service partner in your vicinity by entering the city or post code. Select your preferred service partner from the list or by clicking on one of the pins on the map to display details. Click “save” to confirm the service partner as the preferred one for your BMW. Your BMW can now automatically send Teleservice data to your selected service partner and you can schedule service appointments directly. Watch our other how-to videos to learn more about that.
To select your preferred service partner using the Central Information Display in your BMW with Operating System 7 go to “APPS” – “Installed apps” – “Your Service Partner” click on "Select Service Partner" and then "Next". Per default the service partner nearest to your current location is displayed. You can search for a BMW service partner by entering a city or post code or at the currently selected destination of the navigation system. Select a service partner and confirm it as your preferred one.
Using the My BMW App, in the vehicle tab click on “select dealer”. In the map tap a list of BMW dealers in your vicinity is automatically shown. You can also search manually for your preferred BMW dealer. Select a dealer to display details. Select “save as preferred” to save this dealer as your preferred service partner. In the vehicle tab the dealer is now shown under “My dealer”. You can select it directly to contact the dealer via phone or you can select “schedule service” to schedule a service appointment in the My BMW App.
