This heavily camouflaged passenger van was seen in Michigan, USA, and at first, presumed to be a second-generation Nissan NV200 compact passenger van. However, after comparing the spy-photos with pictures of a Nissan Serena, it’s clear that’s what is seen in the photos, which is out of place considering the van isn’t sold in the U.S.
In European and Asian markets, the Nissan Serena is offered with a hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and a CVT and is marketed as a seven- or eight-seater MPV. This is the first time we have seen evidence the company is looking to offer the Serena in the U.S.
